Supporters
We're grateful to the many people who support our work with donations large and small. There are some people and organisations who deserve a special thanks
Jaqui Paterson's
Our local reptile specialist veterinary practice provides us with discounted care and consultation. They've always provided us with a high standard of care and we've always recommended them highly even without any discount. website
Stranton Pets
A small family-run pet store in Hartlepool who provide all our consumables at cost. directions
Pets At Home
Pets at Home's animal welfare charity, Support Adoption For Pets, have made several large donations to the rescue. Our partnership with Darlington store and invitations to visit from stores in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Coulby Newham and Hartlepool provide much needed fund raising opportunities, but, more importantly, they provide us with an invaluable opportunity to spread awareness of who we are, what we do, and (most importantly of all) the animals we have ready for rehome. website
Clair Gilbraith
Clair GilbraithClair Gilbraith joined the staff in 2012. She brought very strong (and much needed) business administration, financial management and fundraising skills to our organisation. Sadly for us, due to increased personal commitments, Clair left the rescue in 2014. Over those two years she was in charge of all our admin and has been a huge influence in bringing the rescue to the more professional organisation that it is today. Many thanks Clair and we wish you and your family well in your future.
Interlift
Interlift are a local company specialising in lifting equipment. Gavin Larry sent us a significant donation from the company in 2014 website
Jonathon Lawson at G4S
As part of G4S' social responsibility ethos, a scheme called Community Counts allows employees to nominate local groups to receive a donation form the company. We're very grateful to Jonathon for nominating us. website
Some special mentions
We're grateful for all the support we've received over the years, and continue to receive, but there are some people who we have to single out for special thanks
Jane and Hannah Nicholas have tirelessly fundraised for us for several years
Paul Gilbraith, a Pets At Home manager who developed our relationship with the chain and assisted greatly in our forging links with several shops and the Adoption For Pets charity
